Masking

Masking is a fabulous technique that can allow you to stamp multiple images on one layer without it getting messy or to leave a clear space to help define an area.

I have recycled some acetate and masked off the centre and area for the sentiment to allow them to stand out against the background design, that has been stamped with 'Inspiring' 40-113 using Timber Brown staz on ink.

The frame has been created using a spellbinders die and 'Fall Festival' 16-001 Mix and Match cardstock the edges of which were distressed using Wild Honey and Barn Door inks.

The butterfly uses the technique I shared on Monday's post here, and was stamped using Timber Brown Staz On ink and  'Free Flight' 30-117.

Well, I am looking forward now to a lovely 4 day long weekend to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, hope you all have a lovely weekend too!

Hugs Cathy

Brilliant contrast of textures & I love the way you used the masking for definition - I'd not thought of that at all.
Enjoy the weekend.

Intricate details and design. Very well planned masking to have all the elements positioned so evenly!
